C.V. Components Ltd Established December 8th 1980 (after being made redundant) started out
from 36' x 9' portakabin, with the assistance and encouragement of Harry Barclay.("Quote; a man who has tried and failed is better than a man who never tried at all"). 1 year later we moved in to larger premises in Lotland Street Inverness and started to pay rent to Harry !.26 years on from there we are now on Harbour Road Inverness. Premises which we now own. We employ a total of 8 people, 2 experienced salesmen, a fully qualified brake shoe re-liner and parts people who know and care about what each individual customers requirements are. Both salesmen, Jake and Bud, covering over 1,000 miles per week each to reach their customer base, operating on Iveco50C HPT.17, 5.2 tonne panel vans which are fully stocked with a comprehensive range of parts. In addition to the sales vehicles we also have a dedicated Jaltest Diagnosis Vehicle complete with on board technology. See the JALTEST web page. We aim to give a twice weekly service call to main-land customers, with 2 express delivery vehicles for back up service.  Calling on Road Haulage Companies, Commercial Garages and P.C.V. Operators.  We cover an area from Oban & Fort William in the South West. North to Alness, Tain, Wick & Thurso taking in the Orkney Isles, also East towards Elgin, Huntly, Keith & Turriff. West to the Isles of Skye, Lewis, Harris, The Uists, Benbecula & Mull. Servicing these more remote areas daily, using local parcel carriers & ferry links.
