       C.V. Components Ltd Established December 8th 1980 (after being made redundant) started out from 36' x 9' portakabin, with the assistance and encouragement of Harry Barclay.("Quote; a man who has tried and failed is better than a man who never tried at all"). 1 year later we moved in to larger premises in Lotland Street Inverness and started to pay rent to Harry !.
   Almost 30 years on from there we are now on Harbour Road Inverness.
Premises which we now own.
       We employ a total of 9 people, 2 experienced salesmen, a fully qualified brake shoe re-liner and parts people who know and care about what each individual customers requirements are.
      Both salesmen covering over 1,000 miles per week each to reach our customer base, operating on fully customised Vauxhall Movano 3.5 tonne panel vans which are extensively stocked, giving a bi-weekly service call to mainland customers, and 2 express delivery vehicles for back up service.
       Calling on Road Haulage Companies, Commercial Garages and P.C.V. Operators.
       We cover an area from Oban & Fort William in the South West. North to Alness, Tain, Wick & Thurso taking in the Orkney Isles, also East towards Elgin, Huntly, Keith & Turriff, Mintlaw and down in to Bridge of Don and Kintore. West to the Isles of Skye, Lewis, Harris, The Uists, Benbecula & Mull. Servicing these more remote areas daily, using local parcel carriers & ferry links.

  • John (Jake) Morrison. Sales Van No 1, Longest Serving employee 28 years, with a great wealth of knowledge.

  • Brian (Bud) Jones Sales. Van No 2, 23 years employed and an ex HGV mechanic to trade.

  • Euan (Barney) Johnston. A very experienced Brake Shoe Re-liner, 20 years employed, Excellent at his job.

  • Michael Noble. Parts / Counter Person with a wealth of experience in parts and customers, 11 years employed, polite mannerly & very helpful.

  • Johnny Bennett, Parts / Express delivery man, A most obliging fellow, 3 years employed.

  • Elaine Thoms. Office Administrator, 9 years employed.In total control of the day to day administration.

  • David Russell Our latest employee,learning every day.
