The 1st Software Update for 2012 is being finalised at present time and should be ready to download from the Cojali website nearer the End of January 2012 "C12.1"
In the latest 2011 software update is the ability to Calibrate ALL Air Drier Units in the Volvo FH Series.
Using Option 1 or Option 2 functions Also the ability to Copy/Paste the parameters of the Renault Premium Air Processing Unit (Air Drier).
If you change this unit without taking the parameters out of the Old Unit and pasting them in to the New Unit the engine will not start !. The above functions are only done in Expert Mode Should you have any problems then we can send you a USB 2Gb Dongle with the download on it for a fee of £15.00p + v.a.t. to cover P&P If you are having problems with your software updates, license etc we will be pleased to quote you.  DIAGNOSIS
|
Allows to read the ECU failure memory by providing the user information about the error codes detected in it.
Jaltest interprets the codes indicating:
The failure component (i.e. speed sensor).
Component location (i.e. right front wheel)
Type of failure (shortcircuit)
The number of times a failure has been detected.
If the error is present or not.
This function allows the user to carry out the deleting of the errors memory; logically if the error is present, it will be detected again by the ECU and it will be displayed in the following diagnosis.
MEASURE VALUES
Displays on the screen the values of the different sensors connected to the ECU. Depends on each system.
ECU DATA
It is the technical data of the ECU, serial number, software version, manufacturer's reference, etc. Depends on each system.
COMPONENTS ACTUATION
They are the direct tests that can be done with the system components. For example, actuate an ABS modulator, activate the suspension solenoid valves in order to raise or low the vehicle chassis,... It is the
active diagnosis, which, for example for the engine, allows to carry out tests calibrating its state, like the cylinders balance, cylinders shut off or compression. Depends on each system.
CALIBRATION
Some systems ask to calibrate some components for its correct operation. The best example are the electronic suspensions, in which there must be stored the reference values so the ECU can make function
correctly.
PARAMETERS
Some ECU can operate with different configurations. With this option you can copy configurations and parameters to the control unit, so control units can be programmed in its first installation. For certain
systems even the modification of some parameters not affecting the vehicles security is allowed.
RESET
This point refers to reset of the maintenance control units counters. If maintenance operations are done but maintenance alarm is not cancelled, the warning message referring to maintenance will keep on.
Nothing to do with the memory error codes deleting, which is part of the diagnosis.
Indications on each system.
‘X’ --- The option is included in Jaltest.
‘T2, T3’ ‘10’ --- This function is being developed in the time or year indicated.
‘ ‘ --- (Blank space) The development of this function has not been planned in short term.
NF --- This function is not available for this system.
V --- New function or improvement.

Fast moving parts are carried on board this Mobile Jaltest Diagnosis Vehicle which is equipped with wheel chocs, an air compressor giving a regulated air supply via male/female couplings and an electical 24N, 24S & ISO test systems.
This enables us to elliminate a faulty shunter / tractor unit.
