The 3rd Software Update for 2014, "C14.3.2.5" 1.25Gb, is now available to download from the Cojali web site.
C.V. Clients will get your usual USB Jalsoft Update Dongle in the post, installed with the 1.33Gb Jalsoft Update Package and a pdf document with a Jalsoft Presentation, or a personal visit from me.
If your software is out of date and you wish a USB Dongle c/w C14.3.2.5 Installation file then please contact us for a quotation to get you up to date and back on line.
During the Uploading of the C14.3 software you must have an Internet Connection to allow the software to connect to the Cojali Web Server for License Verification

1.1. It will be compulsory to register the equipment and update it after the release of each new update; otherwise the software will be blocked.
In case the user does not update the Jaltest device it will be mandatory to register it within six months after the last update; otherwise the device will be blocked. To do so, there will be two procedures:
1.1.1. Internet connection. When running an update, the connection with Cojali servers will be checked. If the connection is established, the web service necessary for the update of the license and the registration will be then executed in “transparent mode”. If such service is successfully executed, the software and firmware will be updated next.
1.1.2. Manual mode. If the connection with Cojali servers cannot be
established, an information message will be displayed, providing the option
of saving a seed file to perform the operation via e-mail.

Included in the C14.2 is a software update for E. T. If your version is C14.1,1.25Gb select the incremental update "JalTest Soft Update Pack (14.2)" in order to reduce the download and update times.
For previous versions select full version "Jaltest Soft Setup (Full Version)".2.24Gb
You can check the information about your unit version on the bottom left side of the software’s start screen.
When the downloading process is complete, use a compression program such as Winzip or other similar software in order to extract the content and be able to install the latest version of JalTest Update.

Jaltest interprets the codes indicating: | The failure component (i.e. speed sensor). Component location (i.e. right front wheel) Type of failure (shortcircuit) The number of times a failure has been detected. If the error is present or not. This function allows the user to carry out the deleting of the errors memory; logically if the error is present, it will be detected again by the ECU and it will be displayed in the following diagnosis.
Displays on the screen the values of the different sensors connected to the ECU. Depends on each system.
It is the technical data of the ECU, serial number, software version, manufacturer's reference, etc. Depends on each system.
They are the direct tests that can be done with the system components. For example, actuate an ABS modulator, activate the suspension solenoid valves in order to raise or low the vehicle chassis,... It is the active diagnosis, which, for example for the engine, allows to carry out tests calibrating its state, like the cylinders balance, cylinders shut off or compression. Depends on each system.
Some systems ask to calibrate some components for its correct operation. The best example are the electronic suspensions, in which there must be stored the reference values so the ECU can make function correctly.
Some ECU can operate with different configurations. With this option you can copy configurations and parameters to the control unit, so control units can be programmed in its first installation. For certain systems even the modification of some parameters not affecting the vehicles security is allowed . This point refers to reset of the maintenance control units counters. If maintenance operations are done but maintenance alarm is not cancelled, the warning message referring to maintenance will keep on. Nothing to do with the memory error codes deleting, which is part of the diagnosis.
